Training and Technical Assistance Center
GMHA's Training and Technical
Assistance Center (TTAC) without walls promotes improved care and
treatment for the growing number of older adults with mental health
and substance use problems and addresses the needs of their family
caregivers.
Speakers
Bureau: Our speakers bureau includes leading experts in
geriatric behavioral health. The TTAC can provide customized
consultation and training to help you meet your organization's
educational goals, including individual lectures, lecture services,
and technology-based distance learning programs.
Training: Our training programs are
designed to familiarize staff and family caregivers with the best
practices in meeting the behavioral health challenges of their
clients and family members. The TTAC is able to customize
training programs for various disciplines across the spectrum of
healthcare, behavioral health, and aging services. We offer
training programs on effective program models, revenue
optimization, network/coalition development, and policy and
advocacy.
Technical
Assistance and Consultation: The TTAC provides
individualized technical assistance to organizations seeking to
develop model programs, optimal funding models, cross-system
partnerships, local planning initiatives, local training programs,
inter-system coalitions, and effective advocacy.
The TTAC was launched in 2008 with support from The Altman
Foundation.
