MHA-NYC's LifeNet can provide your clinic with after-hours
crisis intervention services to meet NYS Office of Mental Health
requirements for 24/7 availability of crisis services for your
clients.
Staffed by mental health professionals, LifeNet will conduct
suicide risk assessments for all patients who call after-hours,
provide supportive listening, and provide crisis intervention,
including crisis de-escalation, supportive listening, and lethality
assessment of potentially suicidal callers. For patients who pose
an immediate danger to themselves or others, LifeNet will work with
local emergency services to perform emergency interventions.
LifeNet's comprehensive database of social service programs
will be used to provide referrals to specialized social,
psychological, and other community resources.
