National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, 1-800-273-TALK, is a 24-hour, toll-free suicide prevention hotline available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. By dialing 1-800-273-TALK (8255), the call is routed to the nearest crisis center in Lifeline's national network of more than 130 centers. Over one million callers have received immediate crisis counseling and mental health referrals. Lifeline is administered by Link2Health Solutions and is federally-funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
