Family Link

Family Link is a preventative service program designed to help families meet their children’s developments needs and ensure their safety.

Staff members partner with families who are involved with the Administration of Children’s Services (ACS) or who are at risk for ACS involvement to develop individualized family service plans and link family members to community resources they may need. These services include:

  • Supportive counseling
  • Parenting education to help parents and caregivers meet the child’s development needs
  • Help to stop domestic violence/Safety planning
  • Mental health and substance abuse treatment referrals
  • Help with housing, financial and immigration issues
  • Help navigating the educational, health and social service system

All services are offered in both English and Spanish.

Eligibility:
Families who live in the following Bronx neighborhoods can self-refer to Family Link, or they can be referred by the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) or other community based agencies:

  • Bedford Park
  • Belmont
  • East Tremont
  • Fordham
  • Highbridge
  • Kingsbridge Heights
  • Little Italy
  • University Heights

How to Enroll:
Many families are referred by ACS. Others can enroll by calling the number below or simply walk in and speak to one of our staff members.

Family Link Plus

Eligibility:
Family Link Plus is designed to help families who have the added challenges of substance abuse or mental illness.

How to Enroll:
Families seeking Family Link Plus services must be referred by ACS.
